Itinerary
Day by day
Day 1
Arrival in Djanet
Welcome at Djanet airport by our Tuareg team. Handling of the entry formalities for the Tassili National Park. First night camping.
Day 2
Essendilene canyon
Immediate departure by 4x4 to visit the Essendilene canyon. Lunch, then we skirt the Admer erg, bivouac within the dune ridges that turn red at sunset.
Day 3
Idaran canyon and the Iherir oasis
Departure to admire the spectacular view of the Idaran canyon. Lunch at the campsite, then a visit to the Iherir oasis and its water guelta. Bivouac.
Day 4
Dider engravings
Departure by 4x4 to discover the rock engraving site of Dider. We skirt the Admer erg before camping at the heart of the dunes, which light up in red hues at sunset.
Day 5
Tikoubaouine and the forest of stones
Continuing towards the magnificent site of Tikoubaouine. Exploration of natural corridors, the Tilaline site with its rock paintings, and impressive rock formations, the "forest of stones". Bivouac at Tihramiwin to enjoy a splendid sunset.
Day 6
The crying cow and return
Visit to the famous "crying cow" engraving at Tegharghart, followed by a stroll through the town and market of Djanet. Final dinner and music evening. Last night in a villa with a pool. Airport transfer.
A 4x4 tour crossing the canyons and gueltas of the Tassili n'Ajjer, between ancestral rock engravings, red dunes and hidden oases. A condensed journey through the Algerian desert, between rock and water.
